Inspired by 2011's popular National Poetry Month Twitter feature, the Academy of American Poets kicked off its 2nd annual celebration of "30 Days, 30 Poets," hosting a new batch of dynamic poets to curate the Academy's Tumblr.

Each featured poet was given 24 hours to post an array of ephemera—in the form of text, images, audio, and video—before passing the baton. Below is a series the most popular posts, selected by the Poets.org staff and our Tumblr audience.
