Why am I not receiving my Poets.org newsletters?
It is possible that your newsletter is getting caught in your junk mail folder, or your internet provider may be filtering it out before it even reaches you.
-
What do I do if my Poets.org newsletter is ending up in my spam folder? Spam filters which remove junk mail before it reaches your inbox are wonderful, but can sometimes be overzealous and catch legitimate newsletters and important email. Check your spam folder and mark any Poets.org newsletter found there as "not spam" and move them into your inbox. Add the email address "poetnews@poets.org" and the entire domain of "Poets.org" to your approved senders list.
-
What if the Poets.org newsletter is not in my inbox or even in my spam folder? If the newsletter is not in your spam folder, then it is possible that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is filtering your mail before delivery. Check the spam policy on your ISP's website. you may be able to opt out of it or create an approved senders list. If there is no option to customize your settings, try contacting your ISP or system administrator about the problem by email or phone. It is also possible that you are not truly subscribed. To verify your subscription (or for general assistance receiving our newsletters), send us an email to webmaster@poets.org, and we will be happy to assist you.
-
What do I tell my Internet Service Provider to make sure I receive my Poets.org newsletter? You can send a letter similar to this one: Hello, I subscribed to a newsletter from Poets.org which I am not receiving. Is it possible that server-side spam filters are blocking this legitimate sender? I would appreciate it if you could investigate this and whitelist "Poets.org" and "poetnews@poets.org." Thank you!
