Ange Mlinko

Ange Mlinko was educated at St. John’s College and Brown University and has resided in Morocco and Lebanon. 

Mlinko is the author of Venice: Poems (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2022), Distant Mandate (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2017), and Marvelous Things Overheard: Poems (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2013). She has received a Guggenheim Fellowship and the Randall Jarrell Award in Criticism. 

Mlinko has served as poetry editor for The Nation and is currently a professor of English at the University of Florida. She lives in Gainesville.
